We are thrilled to welcome Kitty Sipple back to the show to talk about the roots and lineages of sanism, neuroqueerness, and Madness. Weaving them together in profound and powerful ways, Kitty also shares theirs and other folks’ stories of resistance and thriving, and much more!
Kitty Sipple is a disabled, white, queer, non-binary femme. Collectively, they are Mad and multiple, recognizing that their experience of ‘many in one body’ as an altered state is the lens through which they experience the world. They are deeply connected to supporting interdependent solutions around healing justice and accessibility for the LGBTQIA+ community. From facilitating writing workshops to holding space in peer-led support groups, they are interested in the symbiotic nature of community care. They just graduated from UMN-Twin Cities where they received a BS in Engineering Studies, Holistic Health and Healing, and Plant/Fungal Biology. Kitty lives on the land of the Dakota and the Objiwe people, which is currently called Minneapolis, MInosotta. Kitty uses they/them pronouns.
Our team works alongside youth to co-produce episodes on topics ranging from climate change to identity to how youth can gain new skills to engage meaningfully with current world events. The show will take a deep dive on these issues, and be in conversations with incredible guests! The hosts are Liam Joy and carla bergman.
