carla dabbles with poetry, dances a lot, writes a bit, and finds her way by listening to the crows and the moss. Armed with a passion for justice, carla often opens realms of autonomy, mutuality, art, creativity, and challenging empire, whilst aiming to keep the embers burning with and for the youth and the coming generations. carla currently lives in Vancouver, on the lands of the xwməθkwəym (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations with her kids and partner.www.joyfulcarla.com
Jamie-Leigh Gonzales
JL is a mom who is currently in a phase of resisting most descriptors of self that are related to output. She knows that’s annoying and silly — but she is ultimately a silly lil duck! She is a dreamer and a make-believer who spends her time falling in love with the changes she sees in the world around her and within her. She is a mentor and mentee across many areas of life, but is continuously learning about who she wants to be from her rad 4 year old.
