BIO

YahNé Ndgo, born in the part of Lenape territory known as Philadelphia in the so-called United States of America, is a Freedom Fighter, writer, and singer. As an organizer she struggles toward abolition of and liberation from capitalism, colonialism and imperialism for all people. She is a Coordinating Committee Member and the Outreach Coordinator of the Black Alliance for Peace, and a Core Organizer with Black Lives Matter Philly, representing the chapter with the Black Lives Matter National Network. She is a founding member of the U Cooperative and helped launch the Black Philly Radical Collective. YahNé owns Deep Blu Womyn Company, a boutique consulting company in which queer and straight, abled and disabled, Black and Indigenous front-line organizers from rural and urban backgrounds engage individuals, organizations, officials, and businesses through facilitation, workshops, inclusion development, system and process review, and restorative practices using the wisdom of our academic, professional and lived experiences. YahNe’s driving force is love. She loves you. This is why she fights for you. She will fight until we win.
